Introduction to professional violin, learn about dynamics, syncopation
Dynamics
Velocity refers to the intensity of the sound when playing and singing a piece. It is indicated by velocity notations, such as f (strong), p (weak), < (crescendo), > (crescendo), etc.
Inderterminate pitch
Sounds that do not have a definite pitch are called indefinite pitches. It is actually noise, which is not part of the movement. It is commonly used by modernist composers, such as sawing wood, origami, typing, sweeping, percussion, boosing, whistling, and so on.
Asymmetric Rhythm
Also known as 'polyrhythm'. In the same phrase or measure, the rhythms of the voices are inconsistent; or in the same measure, the values of the beats that make up them are inconsistent. Broadly speaking, polyphonic music is a singular rhythm. The singular rhythm used by modernist composers is a highly complex rhythm.
Syncopation
A rhythm that changes the position of the beat in a bar. It forms the following format:
(1) The downbeat continues to the downbeat position;
(2) Resting the downbeat position;
(3) The weak beat sound is changed to a strong beat.
Atonality
It refers to the composition of the piece without a certain tonal basis.
